Biography
Kristin L. Flanagan is the Managing Partner of The Law Offices of Christopher D. Edmonds, Ltd. Attorney Flanagan continued the family law legacy created by her father, Christopher D. Edmonds, who founded The Law Offices of Christopher D. Edmonds, Ltd., and had more than 40 years of experience litigating and advocating on behalf of his clients in a court of law.
Attorney Flanagan received her Juris Doctorate from John Marshall College of Law in Chicago, Illinois. Attorney Flanagan earned her undergraduate degree from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, with a focus in Political Science and English. Attorney Flanagan specializes in all areas of Family Law including, but not limited to, divorce, legal separation, paternity, child custody, child support, maintenance, property division, relocation, high assets financial matters, and Orders of Protections.
Attorney Flanagan has served hundreds of clients with majority of the cases settling; however, Attorney Flanagan is fully prepared to take any matter to Trial or evidentiary hearing. Attorney Flanagan will listen, actively negotiate, and zealously litigate any matter as long as the clients’ interests are served; however, Attorney Flanagan will push forth on cases for Trial, if necessary. She has gone to Trial on numerous highly contested legal matters including children relocation and custody as well as financial matters.
Attorney Flanagan prides herself on being open and honest with her clients regarding different outcomes in their legal matters. She will strongly advocate on behalf of her client to serve the best interest of both the client and the client’s family structure, including his/her children. Finally, Attorney Flanagan makes herself present and available to her clients to work together as a team, determine legal plans and provide positive outcomes.
Prior to joining the Law Offices of Christopher D. Edmonds, Ltd., Attorney Flanagan interned with the DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office in the Juvenile Division and the Child Support Division utilizing her 711 license while also enrolled full-time in law school. She also clerked for a highly respected Domestic Relations Judge in the Daley Center during her law school career. When not working, Attorney Flanagan enjoys traveling, camping and attending sporting events with her husband and three children.
